HIV Awareness with Mildmay UK and Jason Reid

Join us for HIV Awareness with Mildmay UK and Jason Reid. This event aims to raise understanding about HIV through both medical insight and lived experience.

We will first hear from two speakers from Mildmay Hospital, an organisation with a long history of HIV and AIDS care in the UK. They will explain the essentials of HIV, including how it affects the body, the treatments available today, and the wider medical and psychosocial aspects of living with the condition.

After this, writer and advocate Jason Reid will speak about his personal experience of living with HIV, offering an honest and informative perspective.

Both talks will finish with a Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and learn more. Everyone is invited to attend and take part in this open and supportive discussion.
