This course is suitable for all learners, including complete beginners with no prior knowledge of BSL.
This Signature-accredited course will give you the confidence to start communicating in British Sign Language. You’ll learn how to take part in simple, everyday conversations and begin building strong foundations in both BSL and Deaf awareness.

Topics include: Meeting people and introductions, Numbers and fingerspelling, Directions and transport, Emotions, hobbies and interests and everyday communication.
Also as part of the course you will have 3 additional sessions at one of our Deaf clubs held in central London. Our Deaf Club tutor supported sessions offer a supportive friendly environment for conversation practice and a place to build confidence in using sign whilst also providing you with direct access to Deaf Culture. You will have the opportunity to interact with different people and practice your receptive skills and learn regional variations.
