Afterschool BSL Clubs
"LET YOUR HANDS DO THE TALKING"
EDS BSL school clubs are a fun, yet informative way of introducing this beautiful exciting visual language to school aged children.
Through our interactive BSL lessons with games and activities, children will have a great opportunity to learn one of the fastest growing languages here in the UK
Deaf BSL tutors will introduce this beautiful and exciting visual language, covering a wide range of topics useful in everyday communication and relative to the National Curriculum.
Topics covered include:-
Greetings
Family
Transport
Colour
Weather
Various topics relating to school and home life.
The club is designed as an extra school activity which can take place at breakfast, lunch or after school, in 45minute to 1-hour sittings.
All our tutors are Deaf and are accompanied by a BSL Communication Support Worker (CSW), who are all DBS approved.
